This bright, dynamic group of students leaders ranging from 3rd to 5th grade work closely with Ms. Johal and the Burr staff to accomplish a variety of school and community-wide initiatives throughout the year.

The entire school is grateful to these students for their commitment to helping others, improving the school and connecting Burr to important, charitable causes.

2016-17 ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

​

* completed a Socktober drive to provide socks and other clothing for families in need
* collected gifts for a Holiday Drive to support local children
* participated in a winter coat drive
* successfully advocated for soccer nets and voted to use Talent Show funds to pay for them
* raised money to plant trees to support victims of the earthquakes in Haiti
* visited seniors at the Scandinavian Living Center
* participated in litter patrol to keep the Burr grounds clean
* sponsored school spirit days
